Hi everyone!
My name is Charlotte and I specialise in behaviour and training for dogs and cats.
I have recently completed a Master of Science degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour and have been working as a dog behaviourist for the last five years.
My passion is understanding why dog's direct bites to people, and how we can reduce those incidents from occurring.
I am currently working towards full certification as a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB).
Education & Practical experience
2014-2016
Completion of my Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal care and Management. Worked at a greyhound rehoming and boarding centre.
2016-2019
Completion of my Foundation and Bachelors Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Worked at Birmingham's Nature Centre.
2020-2023
Volunteered and became employed with a local dog training and behaviour company in Birmingham. Achieved Scent Instructor Bronze Award with UK Sniffer Dogs. Created my own business, working with wonderful clients and their dogs. Attended Dog First Aid Training, the Positive Gundog Training Conference, and other animal behaviour conferences.
2023-2024
Completion of my Master's Degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour. Focused my thesis project on human directed dog bites.
2024 onwards
Working towards full certification of being a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB).
