Welcome to Fear Free Behaviour. By continuing to browse, view, search through this website and book sessions with Fear Free Behaviour, you are agreeing to comply with, be bound by and adhere to the following terms and conditions.
The term ‘Fear Free Behaviour’, ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us’ refers to the owner of the website, Charlotte Bridgwater, trading as Fear Free Behaviour.
All aspects of this contract shall be governed by English Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. The use of this website and applicable services is subject to the following provisions:
Website Content and Use of this Website
The content of our website is for your general information only and is subject to change without notice.
We do not provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, suitability or performance of the information and materials available via our website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain errors, inaccuracies or incompleteness and we pertinently express that we exclude all liability for any such inaccuracies or incompleteness to the fullest extent permitted by English law.
In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.
The use of any information and/or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It is your own responsibility to ensure that any services or information available through this website meets your specific requirements.
Our website may contain material which is owned or licensed to us. This includes, but not limited to, the design, appearance, layout and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with copyright notice which forms a part of these terms and conditions.
We do not warrant that the use and service of our site will be error free or uninterrupted or that all content is free of viruses, bugs or other malicious software.
Services
Prior to booking a session with us, please carefully read the following:
By continuing to book a session, you agree that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions set out herein.
Session Duration
Durations included when booking are for indication only for the maximum time and the duration of the session may be reduced if we believe there are any welfare concerns to you, your dog/cat or us throughout the session. If an agreement to end the session early is made between us and you, we will honour the time and provide this In Lieu. Partial refunds will not be given where a session ends early.
Session Location and mileage fee
The location for the sessions to be delivered will be agreed during booking and in consultation with us. This, depending on the service requested may include: your home, urban areas, environments near to your home, enclosed fields, and/or via video call if virtual sessions are booked.
Fear Free Behaviour works within a 5 mile radius of Cannock, and consultations that are booked outside of the working area will be subject to a mileage fee of 45pence per mile for the remaining journey to the booked destination.
Behaviourist Access for 1 to 1 consultations
Once we arrive to deliver a session and if we are unable to gain entry or locate the property we will contact you via phone and text for a maximum of 15 minutes beyond the start time. If access has not been given within 15 minutes, the session will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
Bookings, Payments, Cancellations, Reschedules, and Refunds
Bookings for any consultations are to be made with a minimum of 2-working days’ notice.
All bookings are to be made in communication with us.
All bookings paid for and services provided by us will not be entitled to a refund.
All payments are to be made via card payment or bank transfer. Under no circumstances will cash be accepted nor any other form of payment. We currently do not accept payments through PayPal.
Payment of fees must be paid in full prior to 48 hours of your session.
If no payment is made 48 hours prior to your session, your booking will be cancelled without notice.
If more than one dog/cat lives at the same address and will be present at your booking, this will need to be made aware to us prior to your first appointment.
Cancellations, Reschedules, and Refunds for all bookings
If your request to cancel is made within a 14-day period from the moment of purchase, you may be entitled to a refund, subject to the following conditions:
If you cancel your booking within 48hours of the start time a 25% cancellation fee will be taken from the price paid for your booking. The remaining monies can be transferred to another session with the rest of the fee needed to be paid for another date and time agreed with us, or a refund of the remaining monies may be given upon request.
If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of the start time a 50% cancellation fee will be taken from the price paid for your booking. The remaining 50% can be transferred to another session with the rest of the fee needed to be paid for another date and time agreed with us, or a refund of the remaining monies may be given upon request.
If you cancel your booking within 1 hour of the start time there will be no refund and you will lose the full fee and will need to pay the full price for a new date and time for your booking.
Sessions which have been booked and paid for will not be entitled to a refund after the 14- day period which started from the moment of purchase.
Media, Publications and Photography
We may, from time to time, use your photography or videos to market our services via social media channels and other marketing platforms. All photography and videos are stored securely, will not be distributed to any third parties and will be destroyed upon your request.
If you wish that we do not utilise any photography of you and/or your dog/cat, please let us know by emailing charlotte@fearfreebehaviour.com.
Liability
By agreeing to this contract, you hereby declare that you hold all liability for injury to you, your dog/cat, your properties and/or third parties and/or third-party property. We will not be held liable for any damages to property that you or your dog/cat may inflict, and we will not be held liable for any injury you or your dog/cat has caused.
Data Protection
In accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018), we will only use the information collected by you lawfully and we will not distribute, sell or pass on your information to any third party for its own use.
Under the Freedom of Information Act (2014) you are able to request details on the information we hold about you. Should you wish to request, please email us at charlotte@fearfreebehaviour.com.
Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for failure to deliver the services for any reason outside of our control, including, but not limited to, Governmental actions or regulations, riots, strikes, war, extreme weather, fire and/or explosions. Any failure of these instances shall not affect your obligation to pay for services already delivered.
