Services 

Fear Free Behaviour offers 1 to 1 consultations to help support dog and cat owners with treating problem behaviour. All breeds and ages from young, adult, and senior pets are welcome. Charlotte can support you with puppy training too!

Behaviour assessments

Need a second opinion on your pets behaviour or have been recommended by your vet to have a behaviour assessment?

Behaviour assessments involve:

  • A review of your pets medical history

  • A review of your pets behaviour history

  • A tentative diagnosis and treatment plan created from your pets history (includes short term management and long term resolution)

  • An introductory consultation (up to 3 hours long, which can be split into two 1.5 hour consultations) which will discuss your pets diagnosis and treatment plan

  • An introduction on how to read and understand body language (dog or cat)

  • A full report sent to you and your veterinary surgeon that includes your pets diagnosis, treatment plan, and advice for next steps.

1 to 1 consults for dogs

Charlotte can help you with the following types of problem behaviour:​​

  • Aggressive responses towards people and/or dogs 

  • Separation related problems (sometimes known as separation anxiety)

  • Fearful/Phobic type behaviour

  • Attention seeking type behaviour

  • High arousal (energy) type behaviour

  • Predatory/chasing behaviour

  • House soiling problems

  • Repetitive behaviours (includes tail chasing/light chasing)​​

Please note a behaviour assessment and introductory consultation must be carried out before practical elements of your dogs treatment plan can begin.

1 to 1 consults for cats

Charlotte can help you with the following types of problem behaviour:

  • Aggressive responses towards people and/or household cats

  • Fearful/Phobic type behaviour

  • Indoor marking problems (includes spraying and scratching)

  • House soiling problems (includes not using a litter tray/toileting on other surfaces)

  • Pica (eating/chewing on non-food items)

  • Attention seeking type behaviour

  • Bonding problems

  • Repetitive behaviours​

Please note a behaviour assessment and introductory consultation must be carried out before practical elements of your cats treatment plan can begin.

Puppy training 1 to 1's

Charlotte can help you with the following types of training for your puppy:

  • Comfortable greetings between your puppy with other dogs and people

  • Confident interactions between your puppy with other dogs and people

  • Redirection and management of puppy mouthing and teething

  • Recall and lead walking​

  • Toilet training

  • And more!

This service is not on veterinary referral, however Charlotte will need your puppy's medical history to be sent to her by your vet to charlotte@fearfreebehaviour.com .
